Project Manager

Position Summary
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading the successful execution of Aspen Project Management’s construction and owner-representative projects. This role provides overall project leadership, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Project Manager is the central point of accountability for clients, contractors, and consultants, representing Aspen Project Management with integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets from pre-construction through completion.
Lead coordination efforts with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and owners to align expectations and objectives.
Financial & Contract Management
Monitor and manage project costs, forecasts, and budget performance.
Oversee contracts, change orders, and payment applications, ensuring compliance and protecting client interests.
Leadership & Team Coordination
Lead project teams including Project Engineers and field staff.
Foster collaboration, accountability, and a bias for action across all project participants.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project status and resolving issues proactively.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and long-term trust.
Quality & Safety Oversight
Ensure adherence to codes, standards, and Aspen’s best-in-class quality expectations.
Promote a culture of safety on all job sites, conducting regular reviews and corrective actions where necessary.
Risk & Issue Management
Anticipate project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Resolve escalated challenges quickly and effectively, keeping projects on track.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare clear, accurate progress reports for clients and company leadership.
Maintain thorough records to support transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
7–10 years of progressive experience in project management, preferably in commercial or government projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or equivalent).
PMP or CCM certification preferred.
Work Environment
Combination of office and field-based work.
Regular travel required to active project sites.
